We Took It for Granted:
spaces, landscapes, and natural resources we assume to be permanent are actually fragile and constantly shifting under political, social, and environmental pressures. Things we often overlook—green areas, springs, farmland, and public spaces—can disappear silently as privatization, militarization, gentrification, and environmental degradation reshape our surroundings. The ongoing works of We Took It for Granted oscillate between nightmarish visions of these vanishing elements and celebratory moments of what remains beautiful and alive
Beauties of the Town:
presents a series of oil-painted portraits that navigate and remove censorship by lifting black masks from women’s faces. Each work captures the achievement of revealing the identity behind the masked face. This act of unmasking is both celebratory and joyful.

Greetings:
These ongoing watercolor paintings draw inspiration from the joyful aesthetics of the 1980s They celebrate rural festivities and greetings, where beauty and simplicity intertwine. The works reflect a cultural blend rooted in Islamic, Christian, and Palestinian visual vocabularies, expressed through vibrant colors and the intimate scale of ornamental painting.
